Our first session is about more than just your symptoms—it’s about understanding your story and your goals. Here is what to expect during our 60-minute initial visit:
The Deep Dive: We’ll discuss your medical history, current concerns, and how your daily routine is being affected.
Physical Evaluation: I’ll perform a hands-on assessment of your movement, strength, and joint function to find the root cause of the issue.
Treatment Kickstart: We don't just talk; we start the work. Most initial assessments include an introductory treatment or a personalized home exercise plan.
The Roadmap: Before I leave, we’ll establish a clear plan of care so you know exactly what the path to recovery looks like.
Mobile Care or Studio Sessions I offer two convenient ways to receive treatment:
In-Home Therapy: I bring the clinic to you. This is ideal for those with mobility challenges or busy schedules. I primarily serve the Vaughan area (within a 5km radius).
Private Studio Sessions: For those who prefer a dedicated clinical space, I offer private sessions at my studio located just behind the Walmart at McNaughton and Major Mackenzie. This quiet, professional environment is fully equipped for 1-on-1 personalized rehab.
Note: Studio sessions are currently by referral or social invitation only. If we haven't met yet, please reach out via the contact form to discuss if this option is right for you!
Straightforward Payments To keep our focus entirely on your recovery, I do not offer direct billing. Payment is due at the time of your session via E-transfer.
After every visit, you will receive a detailed electronic receipt through Jane software. These receipts include all the necessary provider information and treatment codes, making it a 30-second process for you to submit your claim to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
Hi, I’m James. I am a Registered Physiotherapist dedicated to helping the Vaughan community move without pain. After 8+ years of working in busy Toronto and U.S. clinics, I realized that the best results happen when therapy is personalized and focused—not rushed.
I started my mobile and studio practice to bring high-quality, evidence-based care directly to my neighbors. Whether we are working together in your living room or at my private studio space in Maple, my goal is to give you the tools and confidence to get back to the activities you love. When I'm not with patients, you can usually find me playing basketball at the local park or spending time with my family.

I am proud to serve the Vaughan and Maple communities. To provide the highest level of 1-on-1 care in your environment, I offer two distinct ways to work together:
Private Studio Sessions: Located in Maple (near the Walmart at McNaughton & Major Mackenzie). These sessions are billed at my standard clinical rate.
Mobile Home Visits: I bring the assessment and treatment to you. Please note that for all mobile appointments, a Travel & Convenience Fee is applied in addition to the standard session rate.
I primarily serve a 5km radius from my home base. If you are outside this area, please contact me for a custom quote based on your location and travel time.
